Biography

Han Kun Ren is an Oriel Scholar pursuing a DPhil in Engineering Science. He holds an MSc in Energy Systems from the University of Oxford and a BASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto.\ \ His research centers on energy storage design in hybrid renewable systems, specifically focusing on optimizing battery storage capacity, placement, and operation to enhance storage and renewable utilization.\ \ Han has prior work experience in both industrial and research roles, where he honed his skills in programming, optimization, and hybrid renewable design.
