The Range Rover arrived at ORI in 2016, and has been used extensively for data capture, on road and off-road.

The Range Rover's sensor suite is comprised of sensors traditionally exploited for AD including cameras, LiDARS, and GPS/INS. We also include sensors which are not traditionally exploited but show great promise including FMCW radar and audio.

This is the platform of choice for the SAX project, allowing us to capture a wealth of data in a great range of conditions; from motorway driving, dense urban driving and challenging off-road driving conditions in difficult weather, during the day and at night.
