"Oxford is an incredible place to work, with excellent colleagues working together to achieve our common goals of teaching and research.  The department has grown considerably, in both its size and the range of activities that it undertakes, over the past 20 years, and with ambitious plans for new state-of-the art buildings this is an exciting time to shape the future.

As a general engineering department, our work covers nearly all the Engineering disciplines.  As a Global university, we have student and staff from around the world, all contributing to a broad intellectual and cultural experience.  We provide challenging but stimulating work opportunities and aim to support your career development and future prospects. Research can be particularly demanding, and we aim to provide a supportive and inspiring environment, whilst valuing our diverse workforce and promoting equality throughout the department."
