Dr. Maryam Nabavi

Dr. Nabavi works with the Equity & Inclusion Office (EIO) in the area of change management as related to institutional systems, strategic engagement and culture change. Her primary interests and strengths are in the design, delivery and evaluation of initiatives that enhance equity, diversity and inclusion as applied to collaborative large-scale change processes.

At the EIO, she has successfully shepherded numerous initiatives situated at the nexus of staff and faculty development, leadership and equity. Her commitments to anti-racism praxis and Inclusive Excellence are informed by being at the forefront of models, frameworks and advocacy efforts that span 20+ years across academic and community spaces. She holds a PhD in Educational Studies.
