## Student | UBC Vancouver

---

Oluwaseun (pronounced as HOR-lu-wa-CHER-un) is a graduate student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. He is a foreign-trained lawyer, deliberative democrat, and public policy analyst with over a decade experience in intergovernmental affairs, unconventional negotiations tactics, social justice, human rights, and security issues.

For the past seven years, he has been part of a team advising prominent regional and continental-wide organizations in Africa on issues of minoritization and marginalization that arise from ethnic differences which share semblance with but are different from race.

Currently, Oluwaseun is investigating how best to reconceive policies and reporting procedures/mechanisms of the UBC Human Rights Office to alleviate the various concerns that UBC members often raise when filing or refusing to file human rights claims at UBC.
