PhD student – Global Studies | Staff | UBC Okanagan


Saher Ahmed is a passionate activist, researcher, and educator at UBC. She is a PhD student in Global Studies and Manager at the Global Engagement Office (International Advising and Intercultural Development). She has extensive experience working in international policy, human rights, and migration research. As an Afghan-Pakistani woman, Saher is a firm advocate for critical dialogue that embeds justice and equity, and leads to genuine systematic change.
