TU Delft’s online courses generate massive amount of data on student behaviour: all our online courses are systematically evaluated, by surveying students and analysing course user data. This is collected and analysed as part of a programme of active research into online learning. The findings are shared with the instructor(s) and course support team and applied to the online learning education cycle at each stage of the process – development, run, evaluation – enabling insights and interventions that drive innovationin course design and in delivery strategiesand which also benefit and improve campus education.
