Reaching higher levels of aerospace safety, efficiency, and capacity requires advanced automatic control systems with greater adaptability and autonomy. It also requires improved human-machine systems for effective interaction.
The Control and Simulation (C&S) section focuses on developing these systems, grounded in solid theory and physical insights, while leveraging advances in related fields. We validate our work through experiments in world-class facilities, bridging theory and practice.
C&S strives to lead in integrating, developing, and testing control, autonomous, and cognitive systems, both with and without human interaction, to meet industrial and societal needs. We tackle scientifically challenging problems aligned with our mission, maintaining high standards for our team, facilities, and academic and industrial partnerships.
