VOX Delft: A Platform for Thoughtful, Cross-Cultural Dialogue
Are you passionate about technology, society, philosophy, or simply love thought-provoking discussions? VOX Delft is the place for you!
Co-founded in 2011 with Studium Generale, VOX is an interdisciplinary platform by students, for students and community members to engage in open, critical, and creative conversations. Regardless of your background, VOX invites you to explore ideas and challenge perspectives with like-minded thinkers.
What We Do:
- Weekly Discussions: Every Tuesday evening (19:00), join us at the Nook in the TU Delft Library for dynamic debates on a wide range of topics. From free will and the ethics of marketing to 3D printed guns and anarcho-communism, the topics are as diverse as our community. In addition to the weekly discussions, we also offer special events (guest speakers, BBQs, excursions) at certain periods during the year.
- Freedom to select Topics: Have a burning question or an issue you want to explore? Feel free to contact any of the board members(the admins on the group Whatsapp) either in person or privately via Whatsapp or email. The board would be happy to discuss your vision for the event, and its associated logistics.
- Inclusive and Open: Whether you’re a seasoned philosopher or just curious, there are no prerequisites for one to join the weekly events. Everyone’s welcome to contribute and learn.
