# Education
The Department of Microelectronics heavily participates in the education
curriculum at the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and
Computer Science. The faculty and scientific staff of ME are strongly
involved in the teaching activities of the Bachelor of Science (BSc)
programme in Electrical Engineering and the three Master of Science (MSc)
programmes of Microelectronics, Telecommunication and Sensing Systems, and
Signals and Systems.
The Bachelor programme in Electrical Engineering provides broad, solid
expertise, allowing students to enroll in 23 different MSc programmes.
Among these, the three MSc tracks offered at Microelectronics are among
the most popular ones.
Over the past decade, our MSc programs have attracted talented students
from around the world to The Netherlands. A majority of
students finds permanent employment with companies we collaborate with upon
graduation or after completing post-graduate or doctoral research in joint
projects with local firms.
Among the employers are NXP, TNO, Philips, Siemens, ASML,
Nuon, and ICT and Telecom companies.
