## Major Preparation Requirements
- One introductory course in statistics
- One and a half years of calculus through multivariable
- Applicants for Fall 2026 and later must also complete linear algebra

**NOTE:** Only approved statistics courses can satisfy the major requirement (see [ASSIST](https://assist.org/) articulation agreement by major). If your school does NOT offer an approved course, you must still complete one transferable statistics course to be considered for this major.
