## Major Preparation Requirements

### Required courses

- One and a half years of calculus through multivariable
- Linear algebra
- One year of calculus-based physics (mechanics, electricity, magnetism, etc.)

### Strongly recommended courses

- One year of general chemistry
- One course in biology with lab for the major (cellular, molecular)
- Differential equations
- Additional calculus-based physics courses
