## Major Preparation Requirements

- At least one year of college level Spanish
- Introduction to Chicana/Chicano history and culture
- Introduction to Chicana/Chicano social structure and contemporary conditions

**NOTE:** One year of high school in which the primary language of instruction was Spanish may be used to satisfy the language requirement for admission purposes. Completion of two years of college level foreign language is strongly recommended.
