# Minor

Students who wish to take a series of courses in anthropology, but major in another discipline, may be interested in the Anthropology minor. Students select courses from the four fields within anthropology (archaeology, biological anthropology, linguistic anthropology, sociocultural anthropology), although they are encouraged to focus the body of their coursework within one field.

### REQUIRED:

- Any two (2) of the following lower division courses: Anthropology 1, 2, 3, or 4.
- Five (5) upper division Anthropology courses:\
  One (1) of the following core courses: Anthropology 111, 120, 130, 140, or M150\
  Four (4) elective courses of your choice (any Anthro UD course)

All courses for the minor must be taken for a letter grade, and students must maintain an overall 2.0 grade-point average.

No more than 2 UD Anthro courses may be used to satisfy both the students major and minor.
