### Required courses

- One year of biology with lab for majors
- One year of general chemistry with lab for majors
- One year of calculus for the life sciences
- One course in introduction to statistical reasoning
- One semester of organic chemistry

### Strongly Recommended Courses

- One year of physics for life sciences with lab
- One course in oral communication or writing II
- One course in cultural diversity or health and society
