Graduate Readmission

Source: https://nursing.nyu.edu/admissions/graduate-readmission Parent: https://nursing.nyu.edu/

If you were once formally enrolled at NYU Meyers, we’re glad you are interested in returning. Here's what you need to know to apply as a an applicant for readmission.

Students who were formally enrolled at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing (including students who were dismissed) may apply for readmission. Students who were dismissed may apply one year from the date of their dismissal. A student may reapply to any master’s program, including the program from which the student was formerly enrolled. The decision for readmission is based on a review of the student’s academic record and the student’s written statement detailing any changes or progress that show promise for success in the program. If readmitted, students are automatically placed on academic probation and will be provided with a student action plan for success that may include repeating previous coursework. Failure of any subsequent coursework or failure to comply with the student action plan may result in a second dismissal from the College.
