# NYU Law Cyber Scholars Program

Law students selected for this prestigious scholarship program will develop an interdisciplinary understanding of cybersecurity issues that integrates technical and non-technical disciplines. 

Each academic year, law students selected for the scholarship will be obligated to enroll  in a technical cybersecurity course at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, that is consistent with their academic program. Scholars will also participate in periodic cohort meetings focusing on cybersecurity topics, and engage in a substantial research project. The programs are designed so that scholars may better understand both the technological aspects of information security, and the privacy and civil liberties concerns that surround the field.
