How to Apply: Undergraduate Co-Majors and Minors

We offer thirteen undergraduate co-majors in collaboration with several NYU schools. The Global Public Health co-major is not a standalone major and must be combined with a degree-granting bachelor's program within CAS, GLS, Nursing, Silver, or Steinhardt.

How to Apply

  1. Review pre-requisites and meet with the program advisor for your intended Global Public Health co-major.
  2. Select your intended co-major on the Common Application.

Undergraduate Minors

We offer two minors for NYU undergraduates wishing to enhance their education, as well as their marketability to employers and graduate schools.

Bioethics minor:

  1. Schedule an appointment with Daniel Fogal, Director of the Bioethics Minor, at daniel.fogal@nyu.edu to learn more about the requirements. (Note: An initial appointment is required in order to declare the Bioethics minor)
  2. Apply for a minor through NYU Albert using the link in the Academics section. Your home school will review your application. If your minor is approved, it will appear on your transcript.

Public Health minor:

  1. Schedule an appointment with Jennifer Zapata, Program Administrator - Undergraduate Advising, at jennifer.zapata@nyu.edu to learn more about the requirements. (Note: An initial appointment is required in order to declare the GPH minor)
  2. Apply for a minor through NYU Albert using the link in the Academics section. Your home school will review your application. If your minor is approved, it will appear on your transcript.
