## 1. Transcript and credit transfer
You should keep your original transcript in case you need evidence of your overseas study when applying for future study, scholarships or employment.
### Host university transcript
Most host universities will send Global Experiences your academic transcript after you've finished your exchange. The transcript will list your courses and grades from the exchange. Global Experiences will notify you when they have received your transcript and how you can collect it.
Some host universities may expect you to order your transcript yourself. You should confirm this with your host university International Office before you return to UQ. If you receive your transcript directly from your host university, bring it to Global Experiences so they can organise your credit transfer with your faculty.
### Credit transfer
Check [mySI-net](http://www.sinet.uq.edu.au/) to ensure that your credit has been transferred. If you have any questions about your credit transfer, please contact your faculty.
If you would like to receive credit for courses that had not been pre-approved by your faculty, you may need to provide copies of:
- correspondence between you and your school or faculty regarding approval of courses.
- syllabi, reading list and assessment for the courses you have taken.
The grades you receive on your exchange are not transferred to your UQ transcript, so your UQ GPA will remain the same after transferring credit exchange. Your results and transcript from your host university may be considered when applying for future study, scholarships or employment.
Going on exchange in your final semester may delay your graduation date.
