Accommodation

LMU Munich holds a number of places for exchange students in student residences, however, due to the popularity of Munich, this housing cannot be guaranteed for all incoming students and students will likely need to find off-campus housing.

Incoming students who do not receive student accommodation are strongly advised to begin the search for accommodation as early as possible. Resources are available to help with your accommodation search, as well as information on the application procedure for the LMU Munich residences.

You can also get involved in the LMU buddy program which aims to help you find your feet as a new student. If you take part in this program, you will be partnered with a student of LMU who will help you with the organization of your stay in Munich and answer any questions you have about your stay.
