UQ has a wide range of research projects available each year to suit many interests and disciplines, across a number of Schools, Institutes and Centres.
Project availability and the number of units participating differs each year. We recommend you visit the research unit's website via the listings below for more comprehensive information about the available projects, delivery mode and specific eligibility requirements that may exist. Details of the Unit Coordinator for each research unit are also available.
Please note that applications for the 2026 Winter Research program will be open from the 23 March - 12 April 2026. Project details are in the process of being curated and currently listed projects may be from the 2026 Summer Research Program round. All Winter Project listings will be available from the 23rd March 2026.
