Parking at Herston

Students and staff must pay to park from Monday to Friday between 7am and 9pm. Parking is free outside these hours and on weekends.
Parking options
- Students and staff can pay to park casually by the hour, with a capped daily rate. The rates are listed below.
- Staff can apply for a fixed or flexible parking permit.
- Persons with Disability (PWD) permit parking is free and is available in most zones.
- Visitors can use Brisbane City Council street parking.

Students
To claim the student rate, you must register as a student in the PayStay app.

Payment for motorcycle parking is via the PayStay app.
Limited Brisbane City Council street parking is available for visitors.
Service and commercial parking
- Free parking up to 2 hours for any service and commercially registered vehicles in designated bays.
- Drivers can also use loading zones (up to 30 minutes, unless otherwise signed).
- Construction contractors and sub-contractors cannot use these spaces and are subject to visitor rates.
Short-term loading vehicles (loading zones)
- Free parking for up to 30 minutes at all times.
