The Mayne Events Space entwines history and contemporary facilities.

## Welcome to the Mayne Events Space

Impress your guests or colleagues with a private dinner, conference, workshop, public lecture or high tea in one of the Mayne Medical building's elegant event spaces, conveniently located 2 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD.

From concept to completion, our experienced events team will provide you with professional, dedicated and personalised service to help deliver a memorable event.

## A slice of Brisbane history

The heritage-listed Mayne Medical School building holds a special place in the heart of Queensland's medical community, and the many doctors who have walked its hallowed halls as students.

## Mary Emelia Mayne Room

Located on level 4 of the historic Mayne Medical School building, the Mary Emelia Mayne Room is our premier event space for large groups.

- Ideal for events catering for 25-120 guests.
- Stunning city views and endless styling possibilities.
- Recently renovated, with an abundance of natural lighting and state-of-the-art audiovisual facilities.

### Conferences and workshops

Tailored layout and audio-visual equipment, including laptop projector and screens.

### Networking and cocktail parties

Brisbane city views, and an adjacent kitchen with selected caterers available.

## Event and meeting spaces

Our indoor and outdoor spaces combine classic architectural features with modern convenience, and are suitable for a range of events - from cocktail functions to business meetings.

### Lectures and presentations

The tiered ES Meyers Lecture Theatre is rich with architectural history, with its exposed wooden eaves and panels. Holds up to 148 people.

### Workshops and networking

The Emeritus Professor Dr Mary Mahoney Boardroom features heritage furniture and an adjoining kitchenette and balcony, however it doesn't have IT or AV technology. Holds 12 people boardroom style, or 75 for a cocktail event.

### Outdoor events

This thoughtfully designed outdoor space is ideal for pre-dinner drinks or morning/afternoon teas. The Reconciliation Gardens celebrate our Traditional Owners and Indigenous knowledges.

### Meetings

Our 4 meeting rooms are equipped with video conferencing facilities and offer convenience and privacy. Ideal for meetings for 8-12 people.

Our selected caterers can tailor a delicious menu to suit the needs of your function. Our catering partners are:
