[Asian Development Bank's Internship Program](https://www.adb.org/work-with-us/careers/internship-program)

The program offers students the opportunity to work in a major international development organisation and work collaboratively with experienced professionals from over 50 different countries. Interns will gain a deeper understanding of development finance and the impact of the work ADB does, and contribute to ADB's business through research outputs.

[Brisbane City Council Tertiary Work Experience program](https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/about-council/careers-at-council/work-experience-and-training-programs)

Opportunity for Brisbane-based domestic and international tertiary students in various disciplines within Brisbane City Council. Council is regularly looking for students to apply for this wonderful opportunity, send a cover letter and resume to TertiaryWorkExperience@brisbane.qld.gov.au outlining your industry of interest, when you can commence and how many days per week you are available.

The United Nations internship programme internship is for a period of two to six months depending on the needs of each office. The internship is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work five days per week under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.

[GCH Learning Experience and Academic Placements Program (GCH LEAP)](https://employability.uq.edu.au/gch-learning-experience-and-academic-placements-program)

This program provides a formal approach for GCH to host students in non-clinical internships and work experience placements across the Health Service.\
The program targets students in non-clinical disciplines to find opportunities within Gold Coast Health Service to learn and develop their skills within their chosen field. \
New opportunities pop up from time to time and are added as soon as it becomes available.

When offered, scholars work alongside specialist researchers in the Parliamentary Library in Canberra for a period of six weeks to produce a report on a topic of relevance to the Library’s research program.\

[Australian National Internships Program (ANIP)](https://anip.anu.edu.au)

Experience the heart of Australian policy-making and politics through a research project. ANIP internships are open to current undergraduate and postgraduate students from all academic disciplines.\
In order to be eligible for this experience, applicants must receive credit toward their UQ degree.
