# Bus and coach parking

You must get approval for buses or coaches to park, or pick up and drop off passengers on campus.

## Request approval

To request approval for bus parking, external organisations and schools should email [pfassist@pf.uq.edu.au](mailto:pfassist@pf.uq.edu.au) at least 2 weeks before your visit.

Provide the following details in your email:

- organisation or school name and reason for your visit
- date and time of your visit
- number of buses
- bus size (e.g. minibus or larger).

The PF Assist team will allocate bus parking for your visit and send you the details in a confirmation email.

### Requirements for multiple buses

If you need 4 or more buses on campus at the same time, you'll need to meet additional safety requirements, including:

- using approved entrance and exit points
- staggering arrivals to avoid creating hazards for other drivers and pedestrians.
