The HASS Connect Mentoring Program brings you together with industry professionals from many diverse careers. Work with your mentor to explore your career pathways and get practical advice on how you can start living it.

The objectives of the mentoring program are:

  1. To establish positive mentoring relationships that are mutually beneficial
  2. To create study and career goals
  3. To increase student confidence in identifying potential career options
  4. To encourage professional networks and relationships
  5. To build awareness of personal employability and how to articulate this to others

The program runs throughout each semester (Feb to May and July to October) and includes:

Why become a mentor?

As a mentor, you can play a vital role in helping students to navigate the transition from study to the workplace, building their confidence to identify potential career pathways, set career and study goals, increase professional networks and articulate their value to others.

Why become a mentee?

HASS Connect aims to bring together engaged industry professionals with enthusiastic HASS students to explore career options and goals. As a student mentee, you will receive guidance through a one-to-one mentoring relationship to gain a deeper understanding of the transition from student life to the workplace.
