## [What's on](https://about.uq.edu.au/campuses-facilities/museums-galleries/marks-hirschfeld-museum-medical-history/whats-on)
Including Queensland’s first x-ray machine, a ~100-year-old embalming pump and gastroscope, our current exhibitions present rarely seen medical equipment from a different time.
## [Our collection](https://about.uq.edu.au/campuses-facilities/museums-galleries/marks-hirschfeld-museum-medical-history/our-collection)
We have over 8,000 objects – all with a story to tell. In medical history, these stories are often a thrilling blend of terror, hope, skill and beauty.
