Parking at St Lucia

Students, staff and visitors must pay to park from Monday to Friday between 7am and 9pm. Parking is free outside these hours and on weekends.

Parking options

• Students, staff and visitors can pay to park casually by the hour, with a capped daily rate. The rates are listed below.
• Staff can apply for a fixed or flexible parking permit.
• Persons with Disability (PWD) permit parking is free and is available in most zones.

Casual rates

The zone you park in will determine how much you pay, and how long you can park. Generally, zones near the centre of campus have higher rates than zones on the outskirts of campus. Find zones on the St Lucia parking map (PDF, 840.88 KB).

Service and commercial parking

• Free parking up to 2 hours for any service and commercially registered vehicles in designated bays.
• Drivers can also use loading zones (up to 30 minutes, unless otherwise signed).
• Construction contractors and sub-contractors cannot use these spaces and are subject to visitor rates.

Short-term loading vehicles (loading zones)

• Free parking for up to 30 minutes at all times.
