The University of Queensland's Terrace Room is a large multipurpose space ideal for seated or cocktail-style functions.
Located at the Sir Llew Edwards Building, its stunning open-air terrace overlooks the St Lucia campus forecourt, with views out to Mount Coot-tha.

## Indoor and outdoor spaces
With its spacious function room and adjoining terrace, the Terrace Room allows guests to move seamlessly between indoors and outdoors.
The outdoor terrace can be styled with high tables for cocktail functions.
The view from the outdoor terrace takes in the historic Michie building and UQ Art Museum.
The room can be configured to seat a large number for a lecture or presentation.
The room can accommodate several tables for collaborative sessions.
A cocktail set-up is ideal for networking events.

### Capacity
- Hosts up to 120 standing guests for a cocktail-style function.
- Seats up to 100 guests in a theatre-style format for a presentation or seminar.
- Seats between 36–54 guests at collaborative-style tables for a workshop.
- Ideal for boardroom-style meetings for up to 26 guests, or 30 guests in a u-shape layout.
- Seats up to 48 guests for a sit-down meal catered by Patina at Alumni Court.

If you're a UQ staff member, book the Terrace Room through the online booking system.
Make sure you request your booking far enough in advance:
- with catering: at least 8 days before
- room only: at least 2 days before.

## Getting to St Lucia campus
UQ's picturesque St Lucia campus is 7 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, and is easily reached by public transport or car.

Bike racks are located outside the Sir Llew Edwards Building on Campbell Road.

The Terrace Room is located at the Sir Llew Edwards Building, St Lucia campus. The room is fully accessible via a lift from the building foyer.
