The U21 Global Citizens programme invites UQ students to join a vibrant, international online cohort of peers committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is your chance to step beyond the classroom, explore global perspectives alongside fellow students, and gain a micro-credential that recognises your commitment to impact.

Over three weeks, you will engage with stimulating digital content, live workshops and peer networks across the U21 collaboration of world-leading universities. Guided by expert facilitators, you’ll work collaboratively to explore complex global challenges, develop innovative solutions, and reflect on your personal values as a global citizen. The experience is interactive, inclusive and designed to equip you with the confidence, cultural intelligence and communication skills needed to create positive change — locally and globally.

Why participate?\ By embarking on this journey, you’ll not only deepen your understanding of a chosen SDG, but also sharpen your ability to act — across cultural, disciplinary and hierarchical boundaries. The U21 Global Citizens programme empowers you to challenge preconceptions, collaborate with diverse networks and translate meaningful ideas into action. Whether you’re an undergraduate or a postgraduate student, this opportunity gives you the tools and connections to contribute to a more equitable, sustainable and globally-aware future.
