How we support you

There are a variety of scholarships, grants and loans available to UQ students who wish to go on exchange or participate in short-term programs.

Please note that you are not guaranteed to receive funding, so please do not count on it when you are preparing your budget.

These funding opportunities are for UQ students travelling overseas

[OS-HELP Loan](https://my.uq.edu.au/information-and-services/manage-my-program/fees-payments-and-refunds/fees-and-loans-domestic-students/os-help)

OS‑HELP loans are available to Commonwealth supported students who are undertaking study overseas.

Students are automatically considered for the following four types of funding managed by the UQ Student Employability Centre.

The UQ Student Employability Centre offers funding to support students participating in a short-term program.

[New Colombo Plan funding](https://employability.uq.edu.au/financial-support/new-colombo-plan-funding)

This funding program provides an opportunity for students to undertake study in the Indo-Pacific region.
