IWD Yarning Panel: Balance the Scales
Join us in person or online this International Women’s Day for "Balance the Scales", a thought‑provoking Yarning Panel hosted by the RAP Network. Educating myself about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs has been one of the most worthwhile and rewarding activities I’ve undertaken since joining UQ in mid-2024.
Bianca Reynolds, RAP Network Partner
What has stayed with me most are the gatherings and yarning circles — the generosity, the honesty, and the cultural knowledge shared so openly. Those moments have shaped not only my understanding of Indigenous culture but also how I show up as a researcher and colleague.
XIANG Ning, RAP Network Agent
I highly recommend the Friend level of the RAP network to anyone beginning their reconciliation journey - it’s a great way to get involved and feel engaged within this passionate network.
