## Abstract

SEQWater and UQ Centre for Water Studies have identified a need to fast-track development of catchment and receiving water quality models for Lake Wivenhoe to inform SEQWater's future planning activities. This project will provide resources to allow the model development team to allocate additional time to the project. Funding for this project will also enable a casual research assistant to be employed to work on the model development projects. The project directly complements the activities outlined in the 2007-08 environmental modelling workplan developed under the SEQWater-UQ research partnership agreement.
