# Senior Executive Team

## Areas of responsibility

The University Senior Executive Team (USET) is guided by the UQ mission and values, and provides strategic advice to the Vice-Chancellor.

USET is focused on whole-of-university management in key areas including strategic priorities, budget setting, oversight of risk and assurance, and organisational culture. Additional focus areas include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs and reconciliation, and UQ Advancement and philanthropy.
