Outreach

Community Engagement

SOE actively shoulders the social responsibility and persistently supports the growth of primary school students in under-developed areas. Since 2008, SOE has been organizing a charity event, namely "Give Love", making donations to primary schools in remote rural areas in China.

Pairing support

SOE took Dayiji Primary School in Yunnan Province as its "pairing assistance" school.

Teacher training in Shanghai

In order to further improve the teaching quality of local teachers, SOE supported and organized these teachers to receive educational training in Shanghai. Since 2013, 8 teachers have been trained in the Elementary School Attached to Shanghai Jiao Tong University and SJTU Affiliated Minhang Kindergarten.

Scholarship

Since 2008, WCU Grant and Scholarship Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University has set up special awards for local students and teachers once a year to help and encourage them to study hard and teach by heart.
