Zhiyuan Innovative Research Center (ZIRC)

Zhiyuan Scholar Program, is an independent research program specially designed for undergraduates to promote “invention and innovation”. It adopts the peer review system to select and support high-quality research projects. Students in the “Zhiyuan Honors Program” focus on the frontiers of science and technology and the major national and international development needs, and brainstorm to have their own creative ideas that will be tested in their competitively funded projects. ZIRC has built four focus platforms, namely Energy and Materials Science, Quantum Communication and Computation Science, Molecular Life Science, and Data Science and Technology, all within a central open lab organized to stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific research.
