海洋学院面向世界海洋科技前沿领域,探索与解决海洋资源环境、气候变化和安全等重大问题,服务于人类和我国经济社会可持续性发展,努力将学院建设成为面向深海、以海陆结合、科学与技术交叉为特色的世界一流海洋科技研究中心和人才培养基地。学院科研足迹遍布全球,并逐步形成“四极”特色,建设了多个高水平科研平台,聚焦极地生态保护和极地治理,为我国制定应对气候变化策略、参与极地生态环境保护和国际治理提供科学支撑。
