### SJTU-CSE Global Youth Forum 2023 is Around the Corner!

The 2nd CSE Global Youth Forum will be held in **December 2023** by the College of Smart Energy (CSE) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The forum closely addresses China’s “dual carbon” (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality) goals, focusing on topics including carbon capture, utilization and storage, new power systems, renewable fuel manufacture and utilization, digital nuclear technology, efficient energy conversion and utilization, power market and other research directions. With policy introduction, academic reports, and panel discussions, the forum endeavors to build a communication platform for young talents and familiarize them with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the College of Smart Energy.
**Qualifications**
The forum welcomes young talents with Ph.D. degrees in renowned universities or research institutions at home and abroad. Competitive academic background, outstanding original and frontier studies, and strong academic potential are expected from the applicants. Generally, the applicants should be under 40 years old.
**How to Apply**
1.CV (in both Chinese and English) including main research areas, education and work experience, list of publications and projects, and basic information such as date of birth and contact details;
2.Abstracts of academic reports (Please click on the “Annex 1” at bottom of the page for templates)
3.Representative publications in the past 5 years.
Scholars interested in delivering a report at the forum are invited to submit the above materials to cse-hr@sjtu.edu.cn by **November 30, 2023**. The email should be titled as “Applicant’s name - affiliation - working position - 2023 CSE Global Youth Forum”. Formal invitations will be emailed when all applications are reviewed. Please reply within 3 days after receiving our invitation.
