Notice on the 2025 Extension Application for Chinese Government Scholarship Doctoral Students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University

根据国家留学基金委关于2025年中国政府奖学金延期工作的通知，现对我校中国政府奖学金博士生申请延期事项具体通知如下：

According to the policies and regulations of China Scholarship Council (CSC) regarding the 2025 Chinese Government Scholarship Extension, the application process for the extension of the Chinese Government Scholarship for Doctoral Students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University will be conducted with the following important notes:

一、 申请条件

只有中国政府奖学金博士生可申请奖学金延期

申请延期的博士生必须同时满足以下条件：

（一）已经完成学校规定的开题报告

（二）已经通过学校规定的年度考核

（三）学习态度认真、表现良好

（四）参加并通过2025年年度评审

（五）奖学金延长期限仅可申请一次，且不超过一年，此前博士生延期已获批过一次的不再受理

1. Application Requirements

Only doctoral students who are recipients of the Chinese Government Scholarship are eligible to apply for a scholarship extension.

To be eligible for an extension, the applicant must meet all the following conditions simultaneously:

(1) The doctoral students have successfully completed the required doctoral dissertation proposal as stipulated by the university.

(2) The doctoral students have successfully completed the required annual assessment as stipulated by the university.

(3) Having a positive learning attitude and good performance.

(4) Having passed the 2025 annual scholarship evaluation.

(5) The scholarship extension can be applied for only once, and the extension period cannot exceed one year. No further applications will be accepted for students who have already received an extension."

二、 评审程序

2. Procedures

(一) 学生申请：2025年4月17日至4月22日17:00（北京时间）内

请根据院系年审负责人的通知要求，在规定时间内完成学籍延期，提交奖学金延期申请并提供相关材料。

(1) Applied by students: From April 17, 2025, to April 22, 2025, 17:00 (Beijing Time).

Please follow the instructions of the department’s annual review coordinator, complete the studentship extension process first, submit the scholarship extension application and provide the required materials.

(二) 院系评审2025年4月23日至4月29日17:00内

(2) Department evaluation: From April 23, 2025, to April 29, 2025, 17:00.

(三) 校级评审2025年5月中旬

(3) University-level evaluation: Mid-May 2025.

(四) 奖学金主管单位评审

(4) Review by the scholarship administration authority.

三、 评审结果

研究生院将统一进行学生奖学金延期申请的审核，并将推荐的申请提交至中国政府奖学金系统。最终结果由国家留学基金委决定。

3. Evaluation Results

The Graduate School will conduct the university level evaluation and submit the recommended applications on the Chinese Government Scholarships system. The final decision will be made by CSC.
