The Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) was established by the Shanghai Municipal Government to support the nation in developing Shanghai into a global financial center. Established through the support of SJTU, SAIF follows the model and structure of world-class international business schools. Over the past decade, SAIF has assembled a globally recognized faculty with expertise across a wide range of finance-related disciplines. To support the continued growth of its academic programs, SAIF is now seeking to recruit several high-caliber academic researchers in the fields of finance, management, and artificial intelligence.

1. Responsibilities

Research: Conduct high-quality academic research in relevant fields, lead or participate in research projects, and publish in top-tier journals.
Academic Service: Contribute to academic development and exchange, supervise graduate students, and support other academic activities as needed by the institute.
Teaching: Deliver classroom instruction as assigned based on institutional needs.

2. Qualifications

All applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

Research Fellow (Senior level)

Must have experience leading major national-level research projects
Strong record of publications in top academic journals and demonstrated academic influence
Experience supervising graduate students through completion of their studies

Associate Research Fellow (Mid-senior level)

Must have experience leading national-level research projects
Strong publication record and clear potential for continued academic impact and development

Assistant Research Fellow (Mid-level)

Proven ability to carry out high-level independent research; applicants with a strong track record of publications will be given priority.
Strong collaborative mindset and significant potential for academic growth

3. Compensation and Benefits
