Academic and Research
The College of Smart Energy (CSE School), Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focuses on carbon peak and carbon neutrality and conducts cross-disciplinary research in the following directions: carbon capture, utilization and storage, new energy-based power systems, renewable fuel preparation and utilization, digital nuclear energy technology, efficient conversion and utilization of energy, electricity market, etc.
By introducing high-level talents, integrating scientific research groups, giving full play to disciplinary advantages, and actively developing research teams, CSE School has established four research institutions, namely the Research Center for Carbon Capture and Utilization, the Research Center for Intelligent Operation and Control of New Power Systems, the Institute of Digital Nuclear Energy Research, and the Institute of Technology and Economics of New Power Systems.
