# Undergraduate Research & Innovation

The Undergraduate Research & Innovation Programs give undergraduates a full spectrum of opportunities: students can join individual faculty research projects and begin hands-on scientific work early in their studies, and progress through a comprehensive, multi-level, process-oriented “Systematic” structure that weaves innovation and entrepreneurship courses, competitions and activities. These integrated opportunities prepare students for future academic careers in selected engineering fields and build their scientific research skills together with the humanities knowledge needed for innovation and entrepreneurship.
