USC-SJTU Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry (ICCI) is jointly established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and University of Southern California (USC) in 2015. As a significant part of the global strategy of SJTU, ICCI features with internationalization, interdisciplinary focus and industry-orientation. Whom we’re looking for:
1. Full-time Tenure-track/Tenured Fellow (Tenure-track Assistant Professor, Tenure-track Associate Professor, Tenured Associate Professor, Tenured Professor)
(1) in Management/ Economics/ Business
Duties & Requirements：
- Candidates should have a Ph.D in related fields.
- Candidates should be excellent in both teaching and researching and be able to instruct graduates.
- Candidates with interdisciplinary study across communication, management and technology will be strongly welcomed.
- Teaching experience for graduates with Corporate Finance, Business Communication, Management Essentials, Brand Management, etc. will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates should have global perspective and industry outreach, and ability to conduct interdisciplinary research, especially in collaboration with industry.
- Candidates should have research ability and achievements matched with the same position in the world first-class universities.
(2) in Digital Technology and Culture
Duties & Requirements：
- Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Interactive Digital Design or related fields.
- Candidates with professional knowledge of AI/AR/VR/MR, Digital Twins, Meta Human, Digital Media Art, Game Design, Interactive Digital Design, Digital Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Brand Consulting, etc. or interdisciplinary study across communication, management and technology will be strongly welcomed.
- Candidates should have global perspective and industry outreach, and ability to conduct interdisciplinary research, especially in collaboration with industry.
- Candidates should have research ability and achievements matched with the same position in the world first-class universities.

2. Full-time Research Fellow
Qualifications：
- Candidates should have a Ph.D in related fields, such as AI, Computer Science, Computer Vision, Mode Recognition, Image Processing, VR and Games, Software Engineering, Programming Language, Computer Graphic, Digital Twins, etc.
- Candidates should be no more than 40 years old.
- Candidates should have publications in related fields and enjoy with professionals research experience in government, industry and academic fields.
- Candidates should have global perspective and industry outreach, and ability to conduct interdisciplinary research, especially in collaboration with industry.
- Mandarin speaking will be more welcomed.
Duties:
- Candidates will conduct academic and policy research in cultural and creative industry and have top-level publications.
- Candidates will conduct various research projects.
- Candidates will complete or participate in policy research reports or policy advices.
- Candidates will participate in ICCI’s research center and conduct related works.
- Candidates will complete other works which benefit ICCI’s development.
