The SJTU Green for Life International Summer School will be held by the China-UK Low Carbon College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (LCC) from July 12th to 25th in Shanghai, China. This two-week international summer school welcomes senior undergraduates and graduate students around the world to take courses on low-carbon and sustainability under the mentorship of prestigious professors from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and partner universities including the University of Edinburgh, etc.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The LCC International Graduate Summer School Session has been delighted to welcome students from over 40 countries since 2018. This year’s international summer school includes frontier lectures, seminars, company visits, and cross-cultural activities. The program is divided into two parts.
Part I:
July 12-18
Exploring a Low Carbon Life
(Registration, Opening Ceremony & Icebreakers, Campus Tour, Public Lectures, Company Visits, Cross-cultural Activities)
Part II:
July 19-25
Embracing a Low Carbon Future
(Frontier Lectures, Seminars, Poster Sessions, Student Presentations, Closing Ceremony)

FEES
This program is free of charge, and we will cover the costs of learning materials, catering, visits and field trips.
Student participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses in Shanghai. LCC will recommend and arrange accommodation in a hotel, the accommodation fees for a Standard Twin Room will be announced later.

SCHOLARSHIPS
To encourage global student participation, international students have an opportunity to receive scholarships that could cover insurance, accommodation, and living expenses during the summer school. Separate scholarship applications are not required; international students will automatically be considered for scholarship upon submitting applications for this summer school program.

HOW TO APPLY
The program is open to senior undergraduate students and post-graduate students from all over the world who are interested in low carbon research and education. All courses are conducted in English. Students shall have intermediate or proficient English language skills.
