The “交·言” Beautiful Campus Construction Competition has been launched

**Competition Introduction**

“交·言” Beautiful Campus Construction competition is an important annual pathway for schools and students to explore ways to build a better campus together. It encourages students to investigate and find solutions to difficulties encountered in every day life, propose feasible solutions and make their voices heard by the school management services.

**Competition Arrangement**

**Registration date: From today to 2025-04-06**

Students can freely form a team but the numbers of students per team must not exceed 5.

\

**Launch date: Around late march of this year.**

Each team will have to confirm their final research topic, followed by a lecture about the competition related matters from the organizing committee.

\

**Initial Investigation Phase：from April to May of this year**

Each participating team will have to launch their investigation and start writing the related materials. We will organize a midterm result exchange around May. In order to further improve their research proposal each team will then be assigned a supervisor and conduct panel discussion with related departments.

\

**In-depth research: From May to September of this year**

Based on previous panel discussions, each team must deepen their research content, finalize their proposal, and submit a research report.

\

**Final Assessment: 2025 mid-October.**

The organizing committee will pick ten teams with the best overall performance to participate in the final debate where participants of each team will have an on-site exchange with the school functional departments.

During the competition, the Campus Management Office，School Student Union, Graduate Student Association and related governing departments will provide continuous support to each participant team.

\

**Activity Awards**

Final evaluation awards:

- Grand Prize: 1 team – Research funding  5,000 RMB

- First Prize: 2 teams – Research funding  3,000 RMB each team

- Second Prize: 3 teams – Research funding  1,500 RMB each team

- Excellence Award: 4 teams – Research funding  1,000 RMB each team

(The final number of awards will be determined based on the actual number of participating teams and announced in the final notice.)

Furthermore,

Each participating team member will be granted:

- 2 labor credits if the research proposal is approved

- 4 labor credits if the research proposal passes the mid-term evaluation

Also for each team that successfully completed the competition, they will be awarded various prizes such as:

- Certificate of Participation

- Additional labor credits

- Research fundings

- cultural and creative products

International students are encouraged to focus on **the Survey on Campus Life Experiences of International Students and Suggestions for Enhancing Convenience** in the guide. You can develop your own research direction and contribute to improving campus life for international students. Registration and team formation phase: 2025-03-14 to 2025 -04-06
