Born in Hollywood, CA. Had a rock collection since I was 4 years old. Studied in San Francisco, Shanghai, El Paso, Santa Cruz and Paris. I like to travel all over the world and have as much fun as possible.

## Research

I am interested in everything magnetic! Magnetism is particularly exciting because it provides access to almost any process in space and time, including Earth and planetary evolution, solar phenomena, the environment, plate tectonics, and life itself-- just to mention a few. I cannot resist working on all these exciting topics.
