Selected by a five-member independent selection committee, Dr. Kelvin Mak, Senior Lecturer, has been named the recipient of the Dean’s Faculty Service Award for year 2022. Dr. Mak has demonstrated the diverse services he has provided to the Department, School, University, and his field.

The Dean’s Faculty Service Award was established to recognize faculty of the Business School for their exemplary service contribution to the University, the profession and the community for the common good out of the expected service responsibilities.

Dr. Kelvin Mak is currently the Senior Lecturer at Department of Accounting, as well as a teaching faculty of the BBA in Professional Accounting and MSc in Accounting Program. Dr. Mak made valuable contributions to the accounting profession and practice, department’s outreach programs and UG curriculum development, and student mentoring and career advising. Furthermore, through his involvement with our board of advisors, alumni, and business communities, his dedication and commitment have strengthened the reputation of the department and the school.
