[Green Finance Theme-based Research Series] Connecting Research with Stakeholders

Under the project “Developing Hong Kong as a Global Green Finance Centre”, supported by the Theme-based Research Scheme (TRS) 2021/22 of the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the Hong Kong Government (project no. T31-603/21-N), our study comprises a series of cohesive studies that address fundamental research questions, including:

  1. The Impacts of Environmental Risks on Financial Markets and Financial Decisions
  2. Climate Risk Modeling and Derivative Products
  3. The Financing of Green Infrastructure Projects
  4. Enabling Technologies of Green Finance
  5. Talent Capacity Building and Talent Development
  6. The Effectiveness of Policy and Regulatory Instruments in Developing Green Finance in Hong Kong

In this video, the Stakeholder Engagement Team explores the importance of identifying key stakeholders and creating strategic communication plans for effective engagement. The team connects researchers with policymakers, business leaders, professionals, and the community, fostering collaboration to co-create innovative ideas, prototypes, and deliverables. The team works closely with other task teams to enhance stakeholder interactions and maximize network exposure.
