# Declaring ESPP as your Concentration

## Declare ESPP and join our community!

*Members of the Class of 2028 are required to declare their concentration by October 10, 2025. However, we welcome students to declare ESPP any time between now and October 10.  Become part of our community early on and learn about upcoming events and field trips!*

All students should follow these steps:

1. Review the Course Requirements
2. Declare your concentration on my.harvard. Sophomores who are ready to declare ESPP as their concentration can do so in [my.harvard.](https://my.harvard.edu/) Instructions on how to do this in my.harvard can be found [here](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=kb_article&sys_id=529e5ecadb6f4f04a914fff31d96190c).
3. Complete a  and submit a brief statement about your interests in ESPP.  Please submit your plan of study form to [espp@fas.harvard.edu](mailto:espp@fas.harvard.edu). The statement can be as brief as a few sentences or a couple of paragraphs and will help us assign a faculty advisor who has expertise that matches your interests.
4. [Book an appointment](https://calendly.com/maffeo-wos) to meet individually with Lorraine Maffeo, Program Administrator.
5. We will host a welcome session for all new sophomore concentrators on Friday, October 10 from 12-1:00pm.  At this meeting we will review course requirements, the plan of study form, discuss fields of specialization, advising and more. 6. Students interested in changing their concentration to ESPP should meet with Lorraine Maffeo, Undergraduate Program Administrator to discuss their study plan.
