Marvin Baclig received a B.A. in Public Health and a Double Minor in Public Policy and Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies from UC Berkeley and an Ed.M. in Higher Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).
Currently, Marvin is pursuing an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration at Northeastern University. In 2020, Marvin started working at Harvard College’s Dean of Students Office as a Graduate Assistant of Student Programs for Student Engagement’s College Events Board. After graduating from HGSE, Marvin served as the Assistant Director for Student Programming at the Harvard Foundation, where he led programming efforts, such as producing the Cultural Rhythms Festival, and launched educational initiatives, such as the Cultivating Curiosity Series and Disability Awareness Series. Marvin also led programming efforts to support first-generation, low-income (FGLI) students, such as directing the First-Year Retreat and Experience (FYRE) pre-orientation program and launching FGLI Visibility Week.
